2024 Mahindra Scorpio-N

As we reported earlier, Mahindra is planning to launch new variants of the Scorpio N with more features like the ADAS. The brand has now released the teaser for the same.

As shared on the brand’s social media handles, the teaser shows highlighted road markings blinking in blue and white colour with the words “Power always stays on course”. This clearly hints at the Level 2 ADAS system addition.

Meanwhile, the online rumours also hint at the addition of a panoramic sunroof on the new upcoming trims of the Scorpio N. Mahindra is likely to position this new trim as the top-spec variant, which will come fully loaded with all the bells and whistles.

Apart from these two new feature additions, the rest of the SUV is likely to remain unchanged. Mechanically, it will continue offering the choice of a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel and a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Customers can opt between a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox.

As this new trim is likely to become the new top variant, its pricing will be above the Rs 25 lakh mark. Currently, the Carbon Z8 L Diesel AT model is the most expensive trim of the Scorpio N, which is priced at Rs 25.15 lakh (ex-showroom).

Our verdict

The new update of the Scorpio N will offer more safety and creature comforts with its ADAS and panoramic sunroof offering. The Scorpio N is the best-selling product of the company, and the new features will position it higher among premium segment buyers.
