Mahindra has issued a recall on 2,300 units of the Scorpio, XUV5OO and the Xylo to rectify a defective vacuum pump in the engines.
This issue is found only on the cars manufactured in May 2014 and owners will be individually contacted by the company. The inspection and replacement of the faulty part would be free of cost for the customers.
The inspection has been limited to specific variants of these three mentioned cars.
- For the Scorpio: Vlx, Sle and Lx
- For the XUV5OO: W4, W6 and W8
- For the Xylo: H9, H8 and H4
Mahindra mentions that this recall is in sync with the SIAM’s voluntary code on vehicle recall.
