Mahindra offers 3 month extension of warranty & free service period

Written by Nizam Shaikh

Mahindra has announced that the brand is extending the service and warranty on all its passenger vehicles. The brand will be extending the service and warranty period in the entire range till 31st July 2021. It is important to note that the brand will be extending the time period and not the kilometres on the vehicles. The extension will be applicable for customers whose warranty expires between 1st April 2021 and 31st May 2021.

The brand has decided to extend the service and warranty period due to the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic. The outbreak and the associated lockdown have restricted customers from scheduling service maintenance or repairs of their Mahindra vehicles. Therefore, the brand has taken the customer-centric initiative of offering the extension.

Digital & Contactless Support

Mahindra assures that customers will get personalised, digital, & contactless sales and service support despite the coronavirus outbreak. This will help customers the hassle-free ownership experience from the brand. The brand also announced that customers could stay connected with the brand through the official Twitter channel. Here, customers will get the latest updates, news on after-sales offerings, digital features, and technical tips. Customers can also download Mahindra’s best-rated – With You Hamesha app.

Fighting Against the Pandemic – Together We Rise

Mahindra is playing its part in defeating the pandemic through several initiatives taken by the company. Mahindra has announced that the company will provide financial aid for the families of its staff. The brand will also offer free emergency cabs for the elderly for vaccination. The brand will also give local officials essential kits such as meals, face masks, sanitisers, and PPE kits.

Mahindra is also working with the government to strengthen the medical infrastructure in India. This initiative includes setting up oxygen plants, oxygen concentrators, and building isolation centres. Furthermore, the brand will also expand the ‘Oxygen on Wheels’ network in the country. Mahindra has also vaccinated nearly 95% of the eligible staff, expanded quarantine centres, and is also caring for its employees with services such as a doctor on call 24×7.
