Mahindra launches Veero LCV in <3.5 t segment at INR 7.99 Lakh

Mahindra has launched the all-new Veero light commercial vehicle in the Indian market the price starting at just INR 7.99 lakh ex-showroom. The new Mahindra Veero LCV is based on an all-new Urban Prosper Platform and is the country’s first Multi-Energy commercial vehicle platform which accommodates diesel, CNG as well as Electric powertrains. In addition to this, the new LCV’s modular platform offers a range of payload options which includes 1 to 2 t+ as well as deck sizes.

Better Than Industry Standard?

The Mahindra Veero is also designed to set new standards in the LCV segment thanks to the safety compliance which Mahindra claims to be beyond the standard regulations and complies with more stringent AIS096 crash safety standards. Also, the Veero shines in aspects such as the performance, capability, comfort, technology and cost of ownership.

Capacity and Mileage

The Mahindra Veero boasts a payload capacity of 1,600 kgs along with a 3,035mm of cargo length. In addition to this, the brand also claims to offer a mileage of 18.4 km/l with the diesel powertrain and 19.2 km/kg with the CNG powertrain. The Mahindra Veero LCV also comes with three cargo types (Standard Deck, High Deck, and CBC). Additionally, the Veero also comes with a 5.1 meter turning radius which makes the LCV versatile enough to easily traverse through the urban environment.

Features

Feature-wise, the Mahindra Veero is quite loaded and comes with first-in-segment tech such as a driver-side airbag, reverse parking camera, a 26.03-cm touchscreen infotainment system with steering-mounted controls, and power windows. Also, Mahindra offers the Veero with a best-in-class regular service interval of 20,000 km to maximize profitability of the owner. The Veero also gets 50+iMAXX features which also enhances the productivity, reveals Mahindra.

Powertrain Options

Powering the Mahindra Veero is a 1.5-litre mDI diesel engine that delivers 59.7 kW of power and 210 Nm of torque. Optionally the Veero LCV is also available with a Turbo mCNG engine that offers the best-in-class power of 67.2 kW and 210 Nm of torque.
