With Formula E, e2oPlus being handed over to car rental platforms; Mahindra surely is showing commitment towards electric mobility. Further proof to this, is that the brand has started road testing the GenZe electric scooter in India. The GenZe 2.0f was recently spotted on the Indian streets, and it is possible, that by the end of this year, potential customers will be able to buy one in India.
GenZe stands for Generation Zero Emissions.
The GenZe was designed & sold in the American market initially. This Zero emission product is introduced to tackle basic urban commute for short distances. The GenZe 2.0f could be launched as is, or a different scooter based on this could hit the Indian streets. Details about this are still very little.
The GenZe 2.0f comes powered by a 1.6 kWh lithium-ion removable battery which offers you a riding range of nearly 50 km / full charge. The brand claims a top speed rating of nearly 50 kmph for this electric scooter and that the batter can be fully charged in 3.5 hours. It also comes with Sport Economy and Easy riding modes.
The Genze in available in 3 variants abroad – GenZe 2.0, GenZe 2.0s & GenZe 2.0f.
