Mahindra announces special finance schemes for essential service providers

Mahindra a few weeks ago introduced its special finance schemes for COVID-19 warriors such as Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, Government Officials and Policemen. But the brand has now announced that it will be extending its special schemes to a wide range of essential service providers such as Healthcare/Pharma staff, Medicine/Vegetable/Milk suppliers, Journalists/Media Professionals, Railway/Airline Staff and others with attractive discounts offers that go up to INR 66,500. 

As of today, the country has 145,779 active COVID-19 cases but on the other hand efforts from healthcare workers as well as other essential service providers have helped 154,329 people get cured and discharged and to pledge its support to the frontline COVID caretakers and essential service providers, Mahindra and Mahindra has launched customised vehicle ownership schemes for COVID warriors to enable them and reduce their burden of owning a new Mahindra vehicle. 

The total benefits for COVID caretakers go up to INR 66,500 and the brand has announced a number of schemes such as – Own Now and Pay in 2021, highest loan tenures up to 8 years of funding, up to 100% on-road funding, 90 days moratorium on the EMIs, 50% processing fee waiver for Doctors and a scheme that allows customers to own a BS6 Pick Up by paying EMI equivalent to a BS4 Pick Up. 

Mahindra also offers a 10 bps discount on the rate of interest under their special offers in order to empower women. The brand has also launched the balloon & step-up EMI schemes that offer EMI starting from as low as INR 1,234/ per lakh, low EMI for the first 3 months, Pay 50% Less EMI for 3 months for every year of the loan tenure, pay 25% of loan payment at the end of the loan tenure. 

The schemes are offered through various financial institutions and customers will have to get in touch with nearest dealers to avail of these unique offers.

Mahindra has started resuming operations in-line with permission from local law enforcement following strict measures such as the screening of customers & staff for high temperature before entering the premises, use of masks, gloves and frequent hand sanitization for the customer and staff, under new relaxed guideline from Government. The brand also sanitizes all the vehicle coming in and going out of their service workshops with alternate repair bays being used to maintain social distancing policies. 

Mahindra also encourages prospective buyers to use the brand’s ‘Own-Online’ digital sales platform and encourages interested buyers to book a Mahindra SUV of their choice from the safety and convenience of their home using the dedicated digital sales portal.
