Mahindra celebrates 1st anniversary of Service on Wheels doorstep services

Last year, Mahindra launched a customer-centric initiative called Mahindra Service on Wheels in the Indian market. The Mahindra Service on Wheels provides customers with doorstep services at attractive rates. The brand has now announced that the Service on Wheels has completed one year of operation with 450 vehicles on road. The Mahindra Service on Wheels offers routine services, basic repair, and dry wash at the customer doorstep. The brand has employed specially trained technicians to carry out the service jobs in limited space. The technicians are armed with special tools & equipment to carry out the work orders.

The Service on Wheels fleet has both 2 wheelers and vans. The two-wheelers are equipped with a carrier box on the rear seat in which all tools, parts, and lubricants required for maintenance services and minor repairs can be carried. The brand has also designed special tools in a compact form, for operations such as oil filter removal. The two-wheeler fleet has a deep and wide network especially in the urban and semi-urban area vehicle the vans are generally used for rural areas that are away from Mahindra’s authorized service outlets.

Keeping in mind the current pandemic situation, Mahindra Service on Wheels vehicles also provide interior sanitisation by using the fumigation technique at the customer’s location. To avail the Mahindra Service on Wheel doorstep service, customers can book appointments from Mahindra authorized service centre or through the ‘With You Hamesha’ app that offers a completely digitised contactless service experience.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mahindra also launched ‘Contactless Service Experience’ for its customers which digitizes the purchase and ownership of Mahindra vehicles which comes with new & industry-first service offerings from the brand. The then launched ‘With You Hamesha’ mobile app provides all service and repair information along with its records that the customer can view. Customers can also view repair orders including the parts required, used and job operations carried out as well as other associated costs with providing necessary approvals and payments through the mobile application.
