Mahindra has released an official teaser of the upcoming Bolero Neo, whose launch will happen in the coming weeks. The teaser shows the Bolero Neo coming out of a dust cloud. Meanwhile, the caption reads as ‘Dare made it to our dictionary, Fear couldn’t. If we look for any clues over here, all we get to see is the front fascia of the SUV. As per reports, the new Bolero Neo is essentially the updated TUV300. It seems that Mahindra is planning to go away with the ‘TUV” nameplate after the launch of the Bolero Neo. We know quite some details about the SUV, let’s have a look at them.

Exterior Outlook

At the very first glance, your brain will say it is a TUV300, which indeed it is. But, to boost sales, Mahindra will launch an SUV with the Bolero nameplate, one of the country’s most successful SUV brands. The company will position the Bolero Neo above the regular Bolero, and the car will likely come with three variants, namely N4, N8, and N10. The design changes include a redesigned front fascia, revised grille, a new bumper, a pair of fog lamps, and a new headlamp cluster as well. On the inside, Mahindra will make some additions to attract a broader range of audiences. And one of the key additions will be a new infotainment system.

Engine And Mechanicals

Bolero Neo will get a new BS compliant 1.5-litre diesel motor. This engine’s performance figure is rated at 100 HP of power and 240 Nm of torque. As far as the transmission is concerned, we are not sure if the automatic will be on offer from day one. And Mahindra will look out for customers’ feedback and decide as and when required. The expected price range of the new Bolero Neo falls in the 9 to 12 lakh bracket.
