Mahindra BE Rall-E spied, launch soon?

Mahindra BE Rall-E

The latest spy shots from Chennai show a BE Rall-E test car in complete camouflage, stuck in the city traffic. The overall design of the Rall-E test mule is identical to the concept model, which was showcased earlier in 2023.

It is likely to be based on the new INGLO platform, which is already in use on the BE 6e. The sharp design of the test car looks like a baby-Urus, whilst it carries the Mahindra traits from the BE 6e.

The tail section has slimmer LED lights, similar to the front DRLs, while the test car is using 17-inch steel rims wrapped in all-terrain rubber. The roof carrier also seems to be carried over from the concept model.

While the overall silhouette is sporty, the off-road-specific details make it drool-worthy to look at. Additionally, we also suspect that it will use the dual-motor setup due to its INGLO platform, thus AWD will be a standard offering.

Now, as far as the launch timeline is concerned, we do not think that Mahindra is in a hurry to launch it this year. In fact, the company has other crucial EV launches in the pipeline, which include the upcoming XUV 3XO EV and the XUV700 Electric.

However, the Rall-E is listed on the company’s website, and its launch can not be denied.

Our verdict

The BE 6e EV is doing great in terms of sales since its launch. Mahindra’s new INGLO platform has done wonders as the performance figures that it offers are commendable. The BE Rall-E is surely going to be an interesting EV, which once launched, will take on the upcoming Tata Harrier AWD EV.
