Mahindra is road testing its electric off-road SUV which the brand showcased in its concept form at the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival in Hyderabad. The Mahindra BE Rall-E has been spotted in full camouflage colours as part of a convoy testing other Mahindra Born Electric vehicles as well.

The Mahindra BE Rall-E has been spotted in Chitradurga, Karnataka alongside the Mahindra XUV.e9 which is an electric coupe SUV and is said to be the all-electric alternative of the Mahindra XUV700. When Mahindra showcased the concept version of the Rall-E, it was not expected to really go into series production. However, looking at the spy shots, it appears that the Mahindra BE Rall-E is likely to soon go into manufacturing.

The Mahindra BE Rall-E test mule appears to be quite similar to the concept car showcased earlier. The front fascia consist of rounded bumper mounted headlamps and LED DRLs on the top. The bonnet also appears to get power bulges similar to the one seen on the concept car. In addition to this, the overall design of the Rall-E appears to be similar to the concept. Also, the top rack which had been showcased earlier and gives the car a rugged look has been carried over on the Mahindra BE Rall-E. This includes the trapezoidal wheel arches and a sloping roofline.

The Mahindra BE Rall-E will be based on the INGLO platform and is likely to come with a 60 kWh battery pack. Expect the Mahindra BE Rall-E to return a range of around 500 km on a single charge. Also, Mahindra is likely to offer the BE Rall-E with AWD, to reiterate with its rugged look. The dual motor setup is also likely to offer a sprint time from 0-100 kmph in under 6 seconds. The EV is also likely to be capable of fast charging with 80% SOC likely to be achieved in 30 minutes.
