Mahindra & Mahindra has officially started delivering its much-anticipated BE 6 electric SUV to customers across India. Launched in November 2024, the BE 6 is the first model under Mahindra’s Born Electric (BE) sub-brand. It is based on the advanced INGLO platform.

Mahindra BE 6 variants and pricing

The BE 6 is available in five variants, with prices ranging from INR 18.9 lakh to INR 26.9 lakh (ex-showroom). It comes with two battery options: a 59 kWh pack offering 225 BHP and 380 Nm of torque, and a larger 79 kWh pack delivering 277 BHP and 380 Nm. The SUV boasts a range of up to 682 km on a single charge, making it one of the most efficient EVs in its class.

Design-wise, the BE 6 is inspired by the BE.05 concept and features an athletic look with a slim front fascia, LED taillights connected by a light bar, and a split rear spoiler. It rides on 19-inch aero-optimized wheels, enhancing its aerodynamic profile. Inside, the SUV offers a tech-forward cabin with dual 12.3-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. A 2-spoke steering wheel, and an augmented reality head-up display.

Mahindra BE 6 features

The BE 6 is loaded with premium features, including wireless charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, a panoramic sunroof, ambient lighting, and a powered driver’s seat with memory function. It also comes equipped with Level 2+ ADAS, offering advanced safety features like adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and emergency braking.

Deliveries have commenced for the top-spec Pack Three variant, with other variants set to follow in a phased manner. The BE 6 competes with models like the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, and Tata Curvv EV.
