When Mahindra had launched the XUV700 on October 2nd, it took the market by storm. The first batch of 25,000 units of the XUV700 came with an introductory sticker price of INR 11.99 lakhs for the base variant. In fact, these 25,000 units got booked within an hour of the commencement of bookings. Meanwhile, the next batch of 25,000 units got sold out in 2 hours today; such is the demand for the SUV. Mahindra also hiked the price of the XUV700. The range now starts from INR 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom). And prices go all the way up till INR 22.99 lakhs for the top-spec AX7 Luxury AT AWD variant.
Engine Details
Mahindra is offering two engine options with XUV700. This includes a 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Both the engines come with two gearbox options, a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. Mahindra is also offering an AWD variant that will appeal to the offroading crowd.
