Lotus launches 2025 Emeya Hyper GT & Emira in India

Lotus Cars, through its exclusive partner Exclusive Motors, launched the 2025 Emeya Hyper GT and the updated Emira range at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The launch took place at the newly opened Lotus Centre in New Delhi, marking a significant step in Lotus’ strategy to expand its presence in the Indian luxury car market.

Emeya Hyper GT

The 2025 Emeya Hyper GT is Lotus’ first-ever electric hyper-GT. It features a 905 bhp dual-motor setup, enabling it to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 2.8 seconds. The Emeya boasts a top speed of 260 km/h and a WLTP-certified range of up to 610 km. The car includes advanced aerodynamic features like an active front grille, rear diffuser, and rear spoiler for enhanced high-speed stability. The Emeya also supports rapid charging with a 400-kW DC fast charger, powering the battery from 10% to 80% in just 14 minutes.

New Emira

The updated Emira range includes the high-performance Emira Turbo SE variant. The Emira Turbo SE is powered by an AMG-sourced inline four-cylinder engine, producing 400 bhp and achieving a 0-100 km/h time of 4 seconds. The top speed is 290 km/h. The Emira Turbo SE features 20-inch Satin Grey wheels, launch control, and an upgraded braking system.

Both models are designed with luxurious interiors crafted from sustainable materials, including Wyron Truecycle thread. The Emeya features a KEF Uni-Q surround sound system and Lotus HyperOS for in-car infotainment and connectivity.

The Lotus 2025 Emeya Hyper GT and Emira face competition from some of the high-performance luxury vehicles in India. The Porsche Taycan is a strong contender with its impressive electric powertrain and advanced technology. The Audi E-Tron GT provides a stylish and efficient option.
