All hail the Make-in-India initiative. Kawasaki has now started local assembly of the Ninja ZX-10R & Ninja ZX-10RR models here in India, and prices have reduced up to INR 6 lakh. Now that is a massive price reduction and the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R becomes the most affordable litre-class supersport motorcycle in the country.
Kawasaki has priced the 2018 Ninja ZX-10R & ZX-10RR models at INR 12.80 lakh and 16.10 lakh respectively. The previous pricing for these models were INR 18.80 lakh and INR 21.90 lakh ex-showroom. So you can now buy a brand new Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R motorcycle for much cheaper than what the used market was claiming. This news has caused a massive impact on the new and used superbike industry.
The prices mentioned here are introductory, and valid till July 2018. Nevertheless, the price correction later will still keep these bikes affordable.
Powering the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R & Ninja ZX-10RR models is a 998cc, in-line, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke motor producing 197 BHP of power and 113.5 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox with a slipper assist clutch. The supersport model comes loaded with features such as ABS, riding modes, traction control, quickshifter, launch control, engine brake control, etc.
