With so many interesting new releases planned, 2025 looks to be a year full of surprises for automobile enthusiasts. Fifteen cars are anticipated to be seen in 2025. Let’s see the features and engine options they all come in, along with their names.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara:
Maruti’s first electric car, e Vitara, has been teased and will be on display at the next Bharat Mobility Global Expo in 2025. With a stated range of roughly 550 kilometres, the Suzuki e Vitara comes with two battery options available worldwide: a 49 kWh pack and a 61 kWh pack. It is anticipated that the Indian market will also see the introduction of this configuration. The e Vitara will include a dual-screen configuration that combines a digital driver’s display and a touchscreen infotainment system. Features like wireless phone charging ventilated front seats, and automatic climate control are also probably going to be included.
Hyundai Creta EV 2025:
Hyundai plans to launch the Creta EV at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 after discontinuing the Kona EV. The Creta EV will have EV-specific upgrades, including an aerodynamically designed alloy wheel and a blanked-off grille. Although the Creta EV’s powertrain specifications are yet unknown, it is anticipated to have a 400-kilometer range.
2025 Tata Sierra (ICE and EV):
The Tata Sierra was first shown as a concept in 2020. Later, in a more developed form, it was showcased in 2023, and now it is prepared to return to the Bharat Mobility Global Expo in 2025. It is projected that the Sierra EV will have a 60 to 80 kWh battery pack with a stated range of more than 500 km. In contrast, the ICE-powered Sierra is anticipated to have two engine choices: the 2-litre diesel engine from the Harrier and Safari and a new 1.5-litre 4-cylinder turbo-petrol unit.
Tata Harrier EV 2025:
The Tata Harrier EV is probably going to make its debut at the next Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 with the Sierra EV. The Harrier EV will be constructed on Tata’s new Acti.EV platform is anticipated to have a stated range of more than 500 km despite having a design that is quite similar to the ICE-powered Harrier. MG Gloster Facelift 2025:
Numerous sightings of test mules of the facelifted MG Gloster indicate that the revamped SUV may make its debut in January 2025. It is anticipated that the 2025 Gloster will include connected LED tail lights and a new split-headlight configuration. MG Mifa 9 2025:

BYD Atto 2 2025:
Before its possible global introduction in August 2025, the BYD Atto 2 EV is anticipated to make its India premiere at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. The Atto 2, which will be positioned beneath the Atto 3 in India, is anticipated to have a 42.4 kWh battery pack with a 312 km WLTP claimed range. Highlights include a panoramic sunroof, an 8.8-inch digital driver’s display, a 12.8-inch touchscreen entertainment system, heated and power-adjustable front seats, and a high-end leather interior.
New Generation Skoda Superb 2025:
It is anticipated that Skoda will introduce the next-generation Superb in India in 2025, maybe during the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Level 2 ADAS is one of the new sophisticated safety technologies included in the vehicle, which was globally unveiled in 2024. The well-known 2-litre turbo-petrol engine from the Kodiaq, which generates 190 PS and 320 Nm, is probably going to power the India-spec Superb.
New generation Skoda Kodiaq 2025:

The international-spec Octavia RS’s 2-litre turbo-petrol engine takes the place of the preceding 1.4-litre plug-in hybrid. The India-specific Octavia RS’s powertrain specifications have not yet been finalised, though.
EQG Mercedes-Benz 2025:
On January 9, 2025, the Mercedes-Benz EQG, the electric variant of the G-Wagen SUV, will make its debut in India. A 116 kWh battery pack and four electric motors, one on each wheel hub, will power the global-spec EQG, producing a total output of 587 PS and 1,164 Nm.
It is anticipated that the Indian-spec model will have the same powertrain, which has a WLTP-rated range of more than 650 kilometres. A voice assistant, an augmented reality-based heads-up display (HUD), and two 12.3-inch displays (for infotainment and instruments) are just a few of the many features that the EQG will have.
Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV Night Series 2025:
According to Mercedes-Benz, the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 will see the unveiling of the Maybach EQS 680 Night Series. This upscale electric SUV has a unique design package with high-end materials and darker external accents. It has 690 PS and a range of roughly 560 km on a full charge, fusing the elegance of a Maybach with the efficiency of an electric engine. The Night Series design bundle will add an extra Rs 20 lakh to the estimated Rs 1.5 crore pricing.
Mercedes Concept CLA 2025:
The Mercedes Concept CLA will be displayed in India at the coming auto show. The concept stands out with large 21-inch wheels and a futuristic design. Both single and multiple motor configurations are available, and for improved performance, an 800-volt system is used. Inside, the idea showcases the MBUX Superscreen, a huge display reaching across the entire dashboard, displaying its cutting-edge technology.
Vayve Eva 2025:
The Vayve Eva, India’s first solar-powered EV, will make its debut during the Bharat Mobility Expo in 2025. Bookings for the pre-launch will start the following month. The Eva is a two-seater quadricycle with an electric motor that generates 8.15 PS and 40 Nm and a 14 kWh battery pack. It has a top speed of 70 kmph and a stated range of 250 km.
