Tata Motors has further strengthened its ‘Forever Range’ by launching the new Limited Edition Tata Tiago at the price of INR 5.69 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. The new Limited Edition Tiago celebrates the popular refreshed hatchback’s first anniversary as well as its success in the hatchback segment. In its Limited Edition avatar, the Tata Tiago hatchback is offered in three single-tone colour options – Pearlescent White Flame Red and Daytona Grey.

Additionally, the Limited Edition Tata Tiago hatchback comes with new 14-inch alloy wheels finished in Black, a new 5-inch touchscreen Harman infotainment system that comes with features such as 3D navigation through Navimaps, Voice Command Recognition, Image and Video playback and a reverse parking sensor integrated with the display. In its BS6 avatar, which was launched last year, the Tata Tiago had received a commendable 4-star rating for safety at the Global NCAP (New Car Assessment Programme). The entry-level models chosen for testing featured three-point seat belts, seat belt reminders for driver and front passenger, ABS and dual front airbags as standard.

In the engine department, the Limited Edtion Tata Tiago is still powered by a BS6 emission-compliant 1.2-litre Revotron three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque matched to a 5-speed gearbox or an optional 5-speed AMT (Automated Manual Transmission). Other hardware such as the suspension components remains the same. In terms of size, the Tiago hatchback measures 3765mm in length, 1677mm in width and 1535mm in height and comes with a wheelbase of 2400mm and a ground clearance of 170mm. The Tiago also features a 242-litre boot space.

In September last year, the brand had announced that the company had rolled-out the 300,000th Tata Tiago hatchback from its Sanand manufacturing facility in Gujarat adding to its accolade of achievements. It is also rumoured that Tata will bring a 100% fully electric version of the Tata Tiago hatchback as an affordable green vehicle option.
