Lamborghini reveals Revuelto with ADAS, Aventedor replacement

Written by Kanad Kalasur

Lamborghini has finally unveiled the Aventador replacement. The new V12 supercar will be the flagship model in the carmakers line-up and is called as the Revuelto.

Lamborghini Revuelto : More Details

In terms of design, the new Revuelto comes with a carbon fibre mono fuselage. This includes the front end along with the body work. All this means that the supercar is pretty lightweight and at the same time offers a good deal of torsional stiffness.

Overall, the design is unmistakably a Lamborghini. The car retains the aggressive, angular and sharp design with Y elements all over. The car gets LED DRLs, LED tail lamps and air intakes in Y-themed design. The Lamborghini Revuelto also gets large mid mounted hexagonal exhausts, a large rear diffuser and 20-inch front and 21-inch rear wheels. The rear end also gets a large spoiler which can be set at three different levels. Lamborghini has also retained the signature scissor doors on the Revuelto.

Coming to the inside, the Lamborghini Revuelto continues with the Y theme. The dashboard gets a new design while the carmaker has made ample use of carbon fibre on the insides. The car gets a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster along with an 8.4-inch vertically oriented touchscreen infotainment screen. Alongside, there is also a 9.1-inch display for the passenger. The steering is a busy place with multiple controls including knobs to select one amongst the 13 drive modes. The Revuelto also comes with ADAS tech.

Powertrain of the Lamborghini Revuelto

Lamborghini has equipped the Revuelto with a brand new 6.5-litre V12 engine. This engine is good for 825 BHP and 725 Nm of peak torque by itself. Further, there are three electric motors – two at the front and one at the rear which push the combined output of the powertrain to 1,001 BHP over the four wheels. The transmission duties are handled by a new eight-speed DCT gearbox.

The motors are supported by a small 3.8 kWh battery located in the transmission tunnel that offers an EV-only range of 10 km. This is perfect if you want to get out without walking up your neighbours.

In terms of numbers, the Revuelto is good for a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 2.5 seconds with a claimed top speed of 349.2 km/h.

Pricing and Delivery details of the Lamborghini Revuelto

While there is no official word yet on the pricing of the supercar, deliveries are expected to commence by the end of this year.
