Lamborghini reveals new Temerario supercar, Successor to the Huracan

Lamborghini has revealed the new Temerario supercar which succeeds the Sant’Agata Bolognese based brand’s popular Huracan. Also, the Temerario has become the first car super sports car in the history of  Lamborghini to come with a twin-turbo V8 engine equipped with three electric motors and is the second Hogh Performance Electrified Vehicle in the brand’s line up. Lamborghini reveal that the Temerario is unique in its category thanks to the top driving pleasure, comfort and performance, all in one. In addition to this, the Temerario features a new design style concept and plenty of customisation options as well as connectivity content.

Design

On the design front, the new Temerario pays tribute to Lamborghini‘s iconic supercars. It features an unmistakably geometric and hexagonal DRL on the front which reiterates with the Lamborghini’s sporty character along with a futuristic context. The engine is also exposed showcasing its intricacies, framed by a spoiler offering both form and function.

Interiors

The Lamborghini Temerario also comes with the brand’s Feel Like a Pilot philosophy on its interior design. Thanks to this, the cabin of both the driver and passenger is designed to offer a performance oriented experience along with more new “Comfort Seats”. Making the cabin more comfortable is the wheelbase which is longer than the Huracan and the enhanced headroom in the cabin. The Temerario also features the latest HMI with connected services, such as Telemetry 2.0, Memories Recorder, Dashcam, and Augmented Reality Navigation.

Engine

Powering the Lamborghini Temerario is a 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbocharged engine. The Hot V engine features the turbocharger in the “V” between the engine bank. The engine also features a dedicated liquid cooling circuit for the Hot V components and develops 800 Ps of power between 9000-9750 rpm only with ICE. In combination with the P1 eMotor and Lithium-ion high specific power battery with pouch cells the motor produces a combined output of 920 PS of power and 730 Nm of torque paired to an 8-speed Dual Clutch gearbox. The Temerario also comes with CCB Plus (Carbon Ceramic Brakes Plus) brakes with aluminium 10 piston monoblock callipers on the front and 4 piston callipers on the rear.
