Lamborghini India recently launched the off-road-ready Huracan Sterrato. Priced at INR 4.61 crore (ex-showroom, India), the deliveries will begin in the third quarter of 2023. The Huracan Sterrato was unveiled back in November and only 1,499 units globally will make it onto the roads.

Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato: What Are The Changes?

The Huracan Sterrato gets a host of upgrades that make it ready for off-roading. The Italian supercar maker has increased the front and rear tracks by 30mm and 34mm, respectively. Meanwhile, the ground clearance is now up by 44mm to allow for more suspension travel. The SUV also gets an aluminium front underbody protection and reinforced sills. It also gets a roof-mounted air intake that allows the engine to breathe better over dusty tracks.

The Huracan Sterrato also comes with an updated vehicle dynamic pack or LDVI (Lamborghini Integrated Vehicle Dynamics). This brings the new Rally mode to the supercar and has recalibrated Strada and Sport modes.

The off-road-ready supercar now drives on new 19-inch alloy wheels. These are a size smaller than the standard Huracan – which wears custom Bridgestone Dueler AT002 tyres. The dual-purpose tyres measure 235/40-R19 at the front and 285/40-R19 at the rear and come equipped with run-flat technology.

Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato: Mechanicals

Huracan Sterrato uses the same 5.2-litre, naturally aspirated V10 engine as the standard Huracan. The performance figure reads as 610 HP and 560 Nm. Noteworthy to mention, the Sterrato is 30 HP and 40 Nm down on power and torque compared to the regular Huracan.

The engine uses a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox that sends power to all four wheels. Lamborghini claims the Sterrato can sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and get to a top speed of 260 kmph.

Lamborghini Huracan Sterrato: Other Options

The Huracan Sterrato falls under one of the most niche supercar segments. On the global market, it rivals the Porsche 911 Dakar. Sadly, we won’t get to see the Huracan Sterrato here in India, as there are no allocations for the same.
