Lamborghini has launched the Huracan Evo Spyder convertible sportscar in India priced at INR 4.1 crore ex-showroom. This new model was unveiled at the brands new showroom in Mumbai. The Huracan Evo Coupe is already on sale in India, and the Spyder model also comes with the most successful V10 engine in the brands line-up.

Powering the Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder is a 5.2L, naturally aspirated, V10 petrol engine which makes more power rated at 640 HP @ 8000 RPM and 600 Nm of peak torque @ 6500 RPM. The dry weight of the car is just 1542 kg which results in a brilliant power-to-weight ration of 2.41 kg / hp. The Huracan Evo Spyder can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 3.1 seconds and run to the 200 kmph mark in 9.3 seconds. The brand claims a top whack of 325 kmph for the Huracan Evo Spyder. The 2019 Lamborghini Huracan Evo Spyder has 1.6% increase in engine cooling massflow, increased aerodynamic performance and better downforce. As every other Lamborghini, the Huracan Evo Spyder also comes with Strada, Sport & Corsa driving modes.

The Huracan Evo Spyder comes with Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI) which predicts driver inputs resulting in a more engaging and sporty drive. So rather than a result of the driver input, the car now predicts future driver inputs and keeps the Huracan Evo Spyder ready. This model comes with 4-wheel torque vectoring system along with rear-wheel steering and has a central processing unit which allows for better dynamic driving. The LDVI technology controls the active suspension, all-wheel drive, gearbox and traction control all by understanding the driver intention based on steering input, braking, acceleration and drive mode selected.

What’s special in the Huracan Evo Spyder is the drop top system, which is a soft top and can be operated at speeds up to 50 kmph and be retracted in just 17 seconds. The pop-up safety bars are hidden, so the aesthetics of the car remain ever so desirable. The rear windshield can be opened up in case the driver wants to hear the naturally aspirated engine roar when the accelerator is floored.

The car rides on 20″ rims with Pirelli P Zero tyres. Inside, you get a 8.4″ touchscreen infotainment system and upholstery in alcantara leather with carbon skin.
