KTM re-operational in Europe, bright future ahead?

KTM plant in Austria

After the financial hiatus, KTM is now going to begin the production and other operations in Europe yet again. The court has finally approved the restructuring plan of the company and has allowed it to operate completely.

Mind you, KTM had faced a big financial crisis not long ago, when Bajaj finally decided to step in and save the Austrian brand from going bankrupt. Since then, the direction for KTM has changed towards a bright future.

Speaking of the re-production, the company will begin producing motorcycles, including the Duke, RC, Adventure, and Dirt bikes. Moreover, the production of spare parts, apparel, and accessories will also be carried out from the month of July 2025.

The new CEO of the company has also stated that they are thankful that the financial crisis is over, as the main focus is now on ramping up production in Europe by the end of July.

Meanwhile, the Austrian motorcycle company has been launching updated motorcycles continuously in India. This appears to be the Bajaj effect as the company is now working under the Pune-based manufacturer.

Our verdict

The upcoming months are going to be critical for the Austrian brand as they are already behind the schedule of bringing new products. Additionally, there is a constant pressure of uplifiting sales, which have been nothing but dismal in India, and globally.
