KTM has revealed the limited edition 1290 Super Duke RR. The bike is unveiled for the international market. Further, this flagship bike will be sold to just 500 buyers.

What’s new in the KTM 1290 Super Duke RR Limited Edition?

Based on the RR model, the bike comes with gloss black and matte carbon design. It gets white graphics and orange accents as well.

The bike also gets split headlamp, LED DRLs, a pretty muscular fuel tank and only one seat. The limited edition bike also gets an exposed frame, single side swing arm and 17-inch alloys.

Other features on this bike include all LED lights, lightweight forged alloy wheels and a full-system Akrapovic EVO exhaust. Notably, the bike also comes with a custom carbon fibre box which has the keys to the bike.

Powertrain of the KTM 1290 Super Duke RR Limited Edition

KTM offers the same 1,301 cc V-twin engine on this limited edition bike. This motor develops 177.5 BHP and 140 Nm of peak torque. However, the main reason for this bike’s performance is it’s lighter weight. Compared to the regular bike, this one weighs 11 kg lesser.

Apart from the changes in the bike, KTM will also offer a host of add-ons for the owners of this bike. These include PowerParts along with a dedicated set of KTM PowerWear. One of them is the custom leather race suit with unique KTM 1290 Super Duke RR branding and design.

Mechanicals of the KTM 1290 Super Duke RR Limited Edition

KTM has spared no expense on this limited edition bike. The Austrian bike maker has offered WP Apex Pro 7548 close cartridge front forks along with a WP Apex Peo 7746 rear shock absorber. Both of these are fully adjustable. For steering damping, the bike comes with a 30-clicks adjustable WP Apex Pro 7117 steering damper.
