Written by Nizam Shaikh

The KTM range of motorcycles become dearer for the third time this year. The KTM Duke, RC and Adventure receive a price hike between INR 256 and INR 11,423 on the ex-showroom price. The least affected model is the KTM 250 Adventure and the most affected is its elder sibling, the KTM 390 Adventure. The price hike is reportedly due to the rise in input costs as the raw material prices increase in India.

KTM Duke Series – Price Hike

The smallest motorcycle in the portfolio, the KTM 125 Duke, gets a price increase of INR 9,940 as its ex-showroom price increases from INR 1,60,575 to INR 1,70,515. The KTM 200 Duke becomes dearer by INR 2,022 as the ex-showroom price increases from INR 1,83,584 to INR 1,85,606. The quarter-litre 250 Duke is now INR 6,848 more expensive, and the new ex-showroom price is INR 2,28,736, which is up from INR 2,21,888. The KTM 390 Duke, which was earlier priced at INR 2,76,187, now retails at INR 2,87,545, a change of INR 11,358.

KTM RC Series – Price Hike

The entry-level RC series motorcycle, the KTM RC 125, is INR 10,068 pricier and now retails at INR 1,80,538. Earlier, the bike came with a price tag of INR 1,70,470 ex-showroom. The RC 200, which came with a price tag of INR 2,06,349, now retails at INR 2,08,602, a change of INR 2,253. The RC 390, which came with a price tag of INR 2,66,159, now retails at INR 2,77,517, showing a change of INR 11,358.

KTM Adventure Series – Price Hike

The two adventure motorcycles – the KTM 250 Adventure and the KTM 390 Adventure now retail at INR 2,54,995 and INR 3,28,286 ex-showroom, respectively. Compared to the old price, the 250 Adventure is INR 256 pricier, and the 390 Adventure is more expensive by INR 11,423 on the ex-showroom price. The 250 Adventure used to retail at INR 2,54,739, and the 390 Adventure came with a price tag of INR 3,16,863 before the price hike. The low change in price for the 250 Adventure is due to the change in freight costs.

Apart from the price change, all motorcycles in the KTM range remain the same, and no mechanical or cosmetic changes are reported.
