KTM Duke 125 coming to India, very soon

Written by Parichay Malvankar

KTM is gearing up to launch the Duke 125 in India, very soon. This is very surprising, and this will be the cheapest KTM motorcycle offering in the country. The Duke 125 will still be an expensive proposition, but will lower the entry point for brand KTM in India.

The KTM Duke 125 is powered by a 124.7cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor producing 15 PS of power and 12 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. We don’t know if we should expect ABS and slipper-clutch on this model, as the Duke 200 doesn’t get it till now. However, the styling of the KTM Duke 125 will be similar to the Duke 250 & Duke 390, the latest generation while the current Duke 200 continues with the old styling.

When launched, the KTM Duke 125 will be the most powerful, and also, most expensive motorcycle in its class.

In terns of equipment, one can expect LED DRLs, LED tail lamp, split chassis, USD front fork, front and rear disc brakes, digital speedo console, metal tank, split seats, rear monoshock, engine underbelly and the likes…
