KTM announces ride to Ladakh for Adventure owners

KTM India had recently announced three epic adventure tours as a part of the KTM Pro-XP program. Under this, three epic adventure trips to Spiti, Ladakh and North-East are planned. Of the three, the Spiti Valley leg starting from July 9 to July 20 was already sold out. But, the bookings are open for the adventure tour to Ladakh – The Land of the High Passes starting from August 20 to September 3. Riders interested in honing their riding skills can plan to take part in this tour. KTM’s Pro-XP platform is also a great starter for someone looking to discover their true biking potential. The event has been quite successful, as evident from the response to the Spiti Adventure tour.

Ladakh Leh Trip Details

The route to the destination will go through multiple terrains like sand dunes, dry riverbeds, gravel, slush, forest areas etc. KTM mentioned that the riders will cover an average distance of 1200 km over 14 days and 13 nights. The trip’s main aim is to impart knowledge and teach the riders with necessary riding techniques. KTM experts will take up this responsibility and also guide the riders throughout the trip. The route will take the riders to ride at 17k+ feet altitude through sites like Khardung La and Tanglangla. They will also follow the uncharted adventurous route from Pangong Tso to Tso Morri, Siachen glacier, to erect the Indian Tricolor.

The trip will start off in Manali. Key spots covered as a part of this trip are, Jispa, Sarchu, Tanglang La, Leh, Nubra Valley, Pangong Tso, Hanle, Tso Moriri, Tsokar. The riders will also get to experience a long list of famous places. This includes Rohtang Tunnel, Zanskar Valley, Singo La, Baralacha Pass, Lachung La, Nubra Valley, Daulat Beg Oldi, 250-year-old Insta Monastery, and Korzok village.
