KTM 390 Adventure now available in 4 variants in India

Written by AnantaSaranNayak

KTM India is spicing up its product portfolio. Recently, we saw some great happenings in the 390 Adventure portfolio. As the two-wheeler maker introduced new variants across a wide price spectrum. The timing of these launches couldn’t get any better. We say this because the KTM 390 Adventure will soon face massive competition from the upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450.

Standard KTM 390 Adventure

The standard trim is the one that we have seen for quite some time. This benefits from a TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. In addition to that, it also gets electronic rider aids such as traction control, cornering ABS, ABS modes, and an up/down quickshifter. The motorcycle retails with a price tag of INR 3.39 lakh.

KTM 390 Adventure V

Then we have this KTM 390 Adventure V. One of the key issues that short riders faced with the standard 390 Adventure was the tall 855mm seat height. Thus to encounter this issue KTM brought in a new low-seat-height variant, at 830mm. KTM accomplished this due to the reduced suspension travel at both ends. KTM retails the 390 Adventure V at the same price range as the standard variant and it gets the same electronics package.

KTM 390 Adventure X

Recently, KTM expanded the 390 Adventure portfolio’s accessibility by bringing in the ‘X’ variant. Priced at INR 2.81 lakh, this is the base variant of the model. And thus it does away with a few bells and whistles. We get to see a more straightforward LCD unit. In fact, there’s no traction control and quickshifter as well.

That said, off-road ABS is present and makes it useful to slide the motorcycle while riding down a mud trail. This variant is perfect for the ones who want a no-frills 390 Adventure.

KTM 390 Adventure Wire-Spoke Variant

The top-spec 390 ADV is the choice for off-road enthusiasts. It comes with wire-spoke rims, wearing the tube-type Metzeler Tourance tyres. This gives it a better capability to tackle impacts. This variant also benefits from adjustable front and rear suspension. Retailing at INR 3.6 lakh, this is the most expensive KTM 390 Adventure to date.
