Komaki XGT X5 launched for elderly & specially abled people

Komaki has launched a new electric scooter for elderly and specially-abled citizens. The new Komaki XGT X5 comes with a starting price of INR 72,500 ex-showroom. The electric scooter is available in two variants, one with a VRLA Gel battery and another with a lithium-ion battery. The Lithium-Ion battery variant comes with a price tag of INR 90,500 ex-showroom.

The brand is also offering two attractive colours – Red and Grey. Komaki has announced that the XGT X5 is available for booking with no booking amount required. The company has already sold more than 1000 units pan India to the elderly and specially-abled citizens. 

Komaki XGT X5 – Range

The Komaki XGT X5 comes with a 72 V 24Ah lithium-ion battery that returns a mileage of 80 to 90 km on a single charge. The VRLA Gel battery model also returns a range of 80 to 90 km on a single charge. 

Komaki XGT X5 – Design Highlights

The Komaki XGT X5 comes with a new sharp body language. The scooter is aerodynamically optimised to improve the efficiency of the motor and the battery. The electric scooter features a large headlamp on the front apron, a sleek front apron and chiselled handlebar shrouds. The e-scooter scooter also comes with a generous seat and footboard. The seat also comes with a backrest for the pillion and large grabrails.

Komaki XGT X5 – Special Features

The electric scooter also features an extra set of wheels to the side that enables differently-abled or elderly citizens to ride the scooter comfortably. The Komaki XGT X5 also comes with enhanced safety features and a Mechanical Parking Feature adding to the safety. The e-scooter also gets a regenerative braking system and a repair switch that quickly fixes the problems identified during the self-diagnosis. 

Komaki XGT X5 – Finance options

The company has announced that the Komaki XGT X5 is available with an EMI facility to aid citizens in these trying times.
