Kia Syros vs Tata Nexon: Engine specification
There are two engine options available for the Kia Syros: a 1.5-litre diesel and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol. The diesel engine generates 114 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, whereas the petrol engine produces 118 bhp and 172 Nm. Six-speed manual, seven-speed DCT, and six-speed torque converter automatic are available gearbox options.
On the other hand, the Tata Nexon also comes with both diesel and petrol engine options. The 1.5-litre diesel produces 113 bhp and 260 Nm, while the 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit produces 118 bhp and 170 Nm. Four gearbox options are available for the petrol engine: a six-speed AMT, a seven-speed DCT, a five-speed manual and a six-speed manual. Both a six-speed manual and a six-speed AMT are compatible with the diesel.

The Kia Syros has an eye-catching front end with its blanked-out tiger-nose grille, clamshell bonnet bearing the Kia insignia, LED headlights and LED DRLs. It has 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, silver roof rails, and flush door handles. It features a wraparound windscreen, a shark-fin antenna, an integrated spoiler, and two-piece L-shaped LED taillights in the back.
