Kia recently opened the pre-bookings for the Seltos and now the company has revealed some detailed images of the interiors of the Kia Seltos for India which gives us a better idea of what to expect inside.
The interior styling on the Kia Seltos is quite modern and it comes with an option of all-black interior theme and a dual tone – light beige and grey / black. In any case, the upholstery comes with contrast stitching in red colour. Coming to the dashboard the Kia Seltos gets a 10.25-inch central touchscreen infotainment system and integrates with the instrument cluster housing which reduces distracted driving. The images show that the touchscreen system features Kia’s UVO connected tech and features sound mood, navigation maps, video streaming through USB, voice memo, radio, Apple Car Play and Android Auto integration along with driving information.
The Seltos gets a three-point flat-bottomed steering wheel with controls and the instrument console gets twin analogue dials showing the speed on the right-hand side and the engine RPM on the left with a central 7.0-inch colour multi-information display and telltale lights above it. The top-end variants also get an 8.0-inch heads-up display which shows the speed and navigation details further enhancing safety and convenience.
On the lower part of the central console, the car gets a climate control panel with push buttons and a rotary dial. More push down buttons are seen around the gear selector and there is some space is seen to park your mobile phone and to charge and connect devices with USB outlets. The rear side of the central armrest gets a digital readout screen for the air purifier with AC vents below it. The door panels have storage spaces and ambient lighting in different colours and houses a specially designed audio speaker with top-spec models to get a Bose audio system.
The Kia Seltos is expected to come in two variant options – ‘Tech Line’ and ‘GT Line’ and will be offered with 3 engine options – 1.5-litre petrol, 1.4-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel, and four gearbox options – 7-speed DCT, 6-speed IVT, 6-Speed AT and a 6-speed manual.
The Seltos is slated for launch on 22 August 2019 and the car can be pre-booked through Kia Motors official website and all dealerships across the country.
