The fastback style sedan will go on sale later this year and takes its design inspiration from the world’s most technically propound yachts. Now the brand reveals the interiors of the K8 sports sedan that offers first-class interior lounge styling and claims to come with exceptional comfort blending in premium luxury equipment. Interior Design
The brand boasts that Kia has kept luxury in mind while designing every element of the K8’s interior. The sporty sedan comes with a driver-centric cockpit along with wood-finish details on the interior trim that elevate the passengers’ experience. The high-end design also comes with state-of-the-art technology that connects the vehicle to the modern world. The dashboard features multiple layers and mingles with the door trims giving it a wraparound effect. The dashboard design is not only contemporary but minimalistic in nature and comes with intricate details and elements that draw inspiration from modern yachts.
Comfort and Convenience Features
Central to the dashboard is a panoramic 12-inch digital cluster and a 12-inch infotainment system that brings styling and connectivity together. The infotainment system comes with a 14-speaker premium sound system from the world-class British audio pioneer, ‘Meridian’ delivering the finest quality in-car surround sound and making the Kia K8 the first Kia to use the high-end audio system. The interiors also come with Kia’s innovative ‘Star Cloud’ an interactive ambient lighting system that projects glittering lights on the dashboard and door trims. The central console features a shift-by-wire transmission dial, wood-based cupholders, touch buttons etc which come with an ergonomic design for the driver and passenger. The new design steering wheel with a new ‘KIA’ logo also makes its debut on the Kia K8.
