Kia rebrands itself in India, updated Seltos & Sonet coming soon

Kia India has announced that it is transitioning from a carmaker towards being an advanced and eco-friendly mobility solutions provider. With this, the brand has also changed its corporate name from ‘Kia Motors India’ to ‘Kia India’. The brand is relaunching itself with a new brand logo and a slogan called ‘Movement That Inspires’. The new company logo and slogan made their debut at the beginning of 2021, in South Korea. Now India is the only country outside the brand home country where the relaunch is taking place.

Kia’s New Corporate Name and Slogan in India

Kia India has dropped the ‘Motors’ from the name which symbolises that Kia will be investing in more than just vehicles. The brand reveals that it will invest in a long range of sustainable mobility solutions. The brand aims to inspire consumers through products, services and experiences. The new slogan reverberates with the genesis of humans and the brand wants to enable human progress in the automotive car space.

The Movement That Inspires slogan symbolises the brand’s plans for leading the future mobility revolution in India. This means Kia is planning to bring new premium products with unique design and advanced features to the country. The brand also announced that it will be fully utilizing the Anantapur production facility for timely manufacturing and delivery of vehicles.

Kia’s New Logo

The brand’s new logo is a handwritten gesture and symbolises the values it promises to its customers. The handwritten signature also features unbroken lines, symmetry and rhythm. This unbroken line of the logo communicates Kia’s commitment to bring inspiration. The upward strokes in the logo also denote the brand’s rising ambitions and what the brand will offer its customer’s. The brand has announced that the first products to receive the new KIA logo will be the Kia Seltos and Sonet SUVs. Both the Kia Seltos and Sonet will be unveiled with the new stylised logo in the first week of May 2021.
