Kia India is increasingly expanding its presence in the country. The brand recently inaugurated its 4th training centre in the country. This facility has come up in Kolkata with the address Budge Budge, Kolkata. The training centre spreads across 10,000 square feet. It aims to impart world-class training to the dealership workforce. The other three training facility centres have come up in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Faridabad. All these facilities get modern equipment that makes the crew up to date as per the market.

To date, the company has imparted more than 56,000 person-days training to upskill almost 10,000 dealer personnel. Given the Covid situation, the facility can also conduct virtual training across the network. Kia’s range of products is getting big and fast updates. Thus, these training sessions will greatly help the technicians keep up with the standards. These training facilities and investments also prove Kia’s interest and dedication to the Indian market.

Kia India – A Success Story

The story of Kia started with the Seltos. The carmaker got everything right from the get-go. This included a vast dealership network, proper market research and an exciting range of products. The Kia Seltos was off to a good start. And then, after the Sonet arrived, Kia India was leading the sales chart. And now, with the Carens coming in, we expect further positive news from the South Korean brand.

Kia’s main reason for success is its understanding of the Indian market. Features loaded with an exciting exterior outlook and light on the pocket is what sells in India. The Seltos, Sonet and also the Carens match these requirements perfectly. There’s also Kia’s increasingly growing dealership network. All these add up perfectly to make Kia a much sought-after carmaker in the country. No wonder we find Kia consistently in the top-5 selling car brands in the country.
