Kia India introduces its first digital showroom in Mumbai. With the growing digitalization trend in the current automotive market, Kia wants to leave no stone turned in its quest for digital supremacy. This new showroom gets a host of digital tools to enrich the customer’s experience. This showroom gets a 3D configurator with a Digital Catalogue, a Heritage Wall, Digital Spec Boards and a Media Wall. Interestingly, all the content broadcasted via these screens is directly in control of Kia India. This will ensure full transparency on the data and details. Kia India mentioned that similar digital showrooms would come up in Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai by the end of this year.

Key Features Of This Digital Showroom

The showroom, spread across 606 sq. meters, can display up to 5 vehicles. Customers visiting this showroom will get the taste of digitalization just after making their entry to the showroom, as they register themselves via the digital registration desk. The 3D configurator aids the customers to customize and design their chosen vehicle and get all the exact details. There are digital spec boards displaying all the relevant information of the showcased vehicles. Enabling digital platforms also helps the dealers in curtailing their costs by rightsizing the infrastructure. Customers also get a lot of flexibility which helps them make the best decision.

Kia India’s Phygital Initiative

Since the company arrived in the country, Kia India has set digitalization as one of its key areas for its development. Recently, Kia has introduced an integrated solution called ‘Kia Digi-Connect’. This provides customers with virtual consultation with their nearest video conferencing. This end-to-end digitalization solution was a much-needed change, given the current situation of pandemics. Kia’s push for digitalization is also visible in their range of products, which come with a host of connected car tech. As a brand, Kia wants to strengthen its image and identity in the country by launching more innovative and digital initiatives.
