Written by Kanad Kalasur

Keeway SR 250 and SR 125 motorbikes will be localised by the end of this year. Adishwar Auto Ride India, which sells Keeway in India, has confirmed this news.

While the SR 125 is already available to purchase, the deliveries for the SR 250 are scheduled to commence from 17 June 2023. The localisation will enable better pricing as well as faster delivery timelines to its customers. Further, it is inline with the Government’s make-in-India initiative.

Keeway SR 125 : More Details

In terms of design, the SR 125 takes inspiration from a retro-inspired design. It gets wire-spoke wheels and dual-purpose tyres. The SR 125 also has a single-pod instrument cluster along with simple round light clusters that further add to the overall outlook. The single-piece ribbed seat, gaiters on the front telescopic fork, and twin-shock rear suspension give the motorcycle a typical retro look.

This SR 125 comes with a 125cc engine. This motor churns out 10.05 BHP of power and 8.9 Nm max of torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Braking power comes via disc brakes with a 300mm unit up front and a 240mm rotor at the rear. The motorcycle gets a combined braking system as well.
