Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser priced in India at INR 2,89,000

Hungarian motorcycle manufacturer, Keeway has launched a new cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market. The new quarter-litre cruiser, K-LIGHT 250V, comes with an introductory price tag of INR 2,89,000 ex-showroom, India. The Hungarian brand, which made was founded in 1999, has partnered with Adishwar Auto Ride India. Thanks to this, the Keeway brand will be able to leverage Benelli’s 50-plus

dealer network across India. The brand will also be able to use the support of the company’s assembly plant in the country. The brand also announced that the Keeway K-Light 250V deliveries will begin by mid-July 2022 onwards.

Keeway K-Light 250V – Price, Colours and Warranty

The Keeway K-Light 250V cruiser motorcycle will be available in three colour options – Matte Blue, Matte Dark Grey and Matte Black. Keeway K-Light 250V comes with a starting price of INR 2,89,000 ex-showroom, India, for the Matte Blue colour. At the same time, the Matte Dark Grey colourway comes with a price tag of INR 2,99,000 ex-showroom, India. The Matte Black option comes with a price tag of INR 3,09,000 ex-showroom, India. Keeway is also offering the new cruiser motorcycle with a 2-Year Unlimited KMS Warranty as Standard.

Keeway K-Light 250V – Design & Features

The Keeway K-Light 250V motorcycle comes with a timeless cruiser motorcycle design. The quarter-litre cruiser features a muscular fuel tank and a scooped seat design. The bike features an imposing V-Twin engine with twin-pipe exhausts on the side. The motorcycle also features 16-inch double-spoke alloy wheels and chunky 120/80 front and 140/70 rear tyres. Complementing the butch 20-litre fuel tank is a round DRL, small LED cluster headlamp, LED brake lights and a swingarm-mounted rear fender.

Key features also include KEEWAY Connect – an integrated GPS unit with a SIM card. It includes remote engine cut-off, setting up a geo-fence, maintaining ride records, setting max speed limit, and sharing location information with friends on community rides. During an emergency, a panic button feature sends the real-time location to 2 pre-set contacts via the app.

Keeway K-Light 250V – Technical Specifications

Powering the Keeway K-Light 250V is a 249cc V-Twin engine. The air-cooled, 4-valve engine produces 18.7 Hp of power and 19 Nm of torque. The K-Light 250V uses a 5-speed transmission with a belt drive. The Keeway K-Light 250V measures 2230mm in length, 920mm in width and 1090 mm in height. The bike also comes with a 1530mm wheelbase and 160mm of ground clearance. The suspension setup consists of upside-down front suspension and hydraulic rear suspension. The bike also comes with a single disc brake on the front and rear with dual-channel ABS.
