We all know Keanu reeves, the Hollywood actor, known for his epic role as ‘Neo’ in the ‘Matrix Trilogy’.
Other than jumping buildings and dodging bullets (in the movie of course) very few that are close to him know his love for motorcycles. Yes ‘Neo’ loves motorcycles just like us.
It started with his first motorcycle a Kawasaki 600 Enduro, after which he owned a Norton motorcycle and thereafter there was no turning back. Often away from home and his Norton’s, he got in the habit of buying a bike when filming on location and selling when the shoot was done. He’s owned a Suzuki GS1100E, Suzuki GSX-R750, 1974 BMW 750, a Kawasaki KZ 900, an ‘84 Harley Shovelhead, and a Moto Guzzi. He’s done many miles all over the world.
But we are not here to talk about the motorcycle he owned, but here to see what his passion for motorcycle have led to.
Keanu Reeves with his buddy Gard Hollinger, started a company called Arch Motorcycle Company. As of now the company has only one model – the KRGT-1

Engine: Meant for cruising the KRGT-1 is powered by proprietary S&S engine, 2,032cc V-twin, but the styling is ‘sports cruiser’.
Chassis: The bike weighs a good 244 kilos which most of it comes from the robust chassis and swingarm. Arch tube & billet steel with billet aluminum structural members as the frame. The swing arm is a modular billet aluminum with titanium axle adjusters.
Transmission: Arch Proprietary 6-Speed drivetrain with custom compact hightorque mainshaft.
Suspension: Front, Ohlins inverted 43mm; fully adjustable and rear has a race tech Single shock with and hydraulic preload adjustment; fully adjustable
Wheels: BST Ultralight carbon fiber; Front: 3”x 19”; Rear: 8”x 18”
Electronics: High-output LED headlamp with integrated high beam, low beam. MotoGadget bar end LED front turn signals. Arch cove-reflective LED tail light with unitized brake and turn signals

Instrument cluster: Motogadget motoscope pro digital programmable instrumentation.
Ergonomics: Though the KRGT-1 gets a sports cruiser stance as standard. Each arch can be custom tailored to enhance ride comfort and performance. Ergonomic options include forward or mid controls, narrow or wide mounted foot pegs and 2” or 3” handlebar pull-back risers.
Fuel capacity: The bike has almost 18 liters of fuel capacity.
But all this, under the tag of actor Keanu Reeves motorcycle company, the bike is sold at a whopping 78000 USD which is approximately close to 50 lac! And with the heavy import duties in India, this motorcycle will cost you a bomb.
So the question remains, will one buy this ride? Even though you get other sport cruisers like Ducati Diavel and Triumph cruisers for almost less than half the price in India? Well we guess it’s all a matter of choice.
