MY2021 Kawasaki Vulcan S gets new blue colour, priced at INR 5.79 lakh

In the recent past, Kawasaki India launched the new MY 2021 BS6 compliant Vulcan S middle-weight cruiser in the Indian market and now the brand has revealed a new paint scheme for the international market. The 2021 Vulcan S in the international market now comes with a new Black with Blue paint scheme along with the Metallic Flat Raw Graystone paint scheme that has already made its way to the Indian market. The 2021 Vulcan with the new colour is also positioned as the Vulcan S SE in select international markets. 

Apart from the new paint theme, the design, styling and all the other mechanical bits remain the same. It is also speculated that Kawasaki will soon launch the new Black with Blue paint theme to the Indian market as well. No other updates to the Vulcan S are expected when the new paint is launched. In terms of design and styling, the 2021 Vulcan S features an oblong headlamp unit with black shrouds that gives the cruiser motorcycle a low slung look from the front. It also features a classic teardrop shaped fuel tank low seats and forward set footrest, an easy to read instrumentation with an analogue-style tachometer integrated with multi-purpose LCD etc. 

In the engine department, the 2021 Vulcan S comes with a 649cc liquid-cooled Parallel-Twin, 8-valve DOHC fuel-injected engine that produces 61 PS of power and 62.4 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed return type transmission. The 2021 Vulcan S features only mild updates to its exhaust system. For cycle parts, the Vulcan S comes with a a slim backbone-style rear frame with an offset laydown single-shock rear suspension, 41mm conventional telescopic front fork suspension,5-spoke alloy wheels and an under-engine exhaust system.
