Kawasaki is super aggressive in introducing new products to the Indian market, and the Japanese manufacturer has announced the arrival of the new Versys 1000. Dubbed as the 2020 Versys 1000, although the launch will be in 2019, this bike can be booked for an amount of INR 1.5 lakh. Deliveries will commence after April 2019.
Bookings open today and will stay open till 31st December 2018. Kawasaki also reveals that the new Versys 1000 will be built in limited numbers, hence bookings will be closed if the target number is achieved. The bike will be available in a new candy steel furnace orange shade.
Only a single standard variant will go on sale, and the Versys 1000 will be assembled locally in India.
Powering the bike is a 1043cc, liquid-cooled, in-line 4-cylinder motor producing 120 HP of power and 102 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper assist clutch.
