As reported online, various Kawasaki dealerships like Anzen Mumbai are now offering massive discounts of up to Rs 84,000 on the pre-facelift leftover stock of the Ninja 300.

The company updated the Ninja 300 earlier in May, where it received new graphics, a set of new projector headlamps, and better tyres for improved performance.

The old stock of motorcycles is still lying around nationwide, which the individual dealerships have now started to clear with sizeable discounts.

Speaking of the pre-facelift Ninja 300, it is identical to the current model except for the headlamps and the new graphics. It is powered by the same 296cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine, which develops 38.9 bhp and 26.1 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 6-speed transmission.

With that said, the current facelifted Ninja 300 costs over Rs 4.25 lakh on-road across the country, while the stock clearance discount is offering the same model below Rs 3.40 lakh on-road.

In terms of the features, the pre-facelift model is equipped with LED lights, a dual-channel ABS, a slip/assist clutch, a semi-digital instrument console, ride-by-wire, and more.

Our verdict

The Ninja 300 is the most affordable sportsbike offering of Kawasaki in India. However, it has been too outdated as the company has not given it a thorough update for a long. Additionally, its premium price tag also diverts potential customers towards the rivals.
