Kawasaki has introduced the K-Care combo package that consists of Extended Warranty (EW) & Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) which is currently being offered to MY21 Ninja ZX-10R customer only. The unique and comprehensive package ensures peace of mind to customers as it not only extends the warranty of the product but customers also save on the annual maintenance cost of the motorcycle.
Warranty
Kawasaki offers a 2-year standard warranty on their motorcycles which is applicable for the first 30,000 km or a period of two years from the date of purchase whichever is earlier. The extended warranty covers an additional 20,000 km for a period of another two years, so in total, the motorcycle is covered for 4-years or 50,000 km. The standard warranty and the extended warranty remain valid even the motorcycle is sold which not only gives the buyer peace of mind but also enhances the resale value of the vehicle.
Annual Maintenance Package
With the Annual Maintenance Contract, customers can rest assured that under the maintenance package 14 items are being taken care-off at regular intervals which include 8 oil changes, 4 oil-filter changes and 1 brake fluid replacement. Over four years, the motorcycle will be serviced 8 times at 6-month intervals and tasks such as washing, lubrication and safety inspection will be carried out in every service.
K-Care Validity
The Kawasaki K-Care will be valid across all Kawasaki dealerships in India and ensures that only genuine Kawasaki spares and engine oil are used. The K-Care package is also transferrable to a new customer in case the motorcycle sold. Currently, the K-Care package is only available on the 2021 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R but Kawasaki may introduce K-Care for other motorcycles in their portfolio as well. The pricing, terms and conditions for the Kawasaki K-Care can be obtained at the nearest Kawasaki Showroom. It is important to note that, K-Care is not valid on any repair or replacement apart from the AMC covered in the package. Repairs related to accidents are also not covered under the K-Care package.
