The Kawasaki Z H2 and Z H2 SE series also come with the iconic Kawasaki Supercharger technology on the engine that delivers high-performance throughout the RPM range and gives the rider a broad range of powerband. The motorcycle is powered by a 999cc liquid-cooled in-line four-cylinder, four-valve DOHC motor with a street specific supercharger that runs off the crankshaft. The Supercharged engine on the Naked motorcycle produces 200 PS of power.

The brand has also tweaked the intake/exhaust valves and made some changes to the fuel injection system that enables the engine to deliver a strong low-mid range torque. The Kawasaki Z H2 and Z H2 SE are equipped with a race-inspired Assist & Slipper clutch, to limit the back-torque on the Kawasaki Racing Team developed dog-ring transmission.

The 2021 Kawasaki Z H2 & Z H2 SE features the Sugomi Supernaked design language with minimalist design, functional parts and less decorative elements. The Kawasaki Z H2 and Z H2 SE also come with an upright riding position and 4.3-inch TFT colour instrumentation with smartphone connectivity via RIDEOLOGY THE APP.
