Kawasaki announces updated bike prices from August 2021

Kawasaki is updating the price list on its portfolio with effect from August 2021. The brand has already revealed the new price list on the Kawasaki motorcycles in India.

Kawasaki Price Hike in India

Ninja Series

The Kawasaki Ninja 650 will come with a sticker price of 6.61 lakh ex-showroom. Currently, the motorcycle is priced at INR 6.54 lakh ex-showroom. The Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX will come with a new price tag of INR 11.40 lakh ex-showroom. The Ninja 1000SX currently retails at INR 11.29 lakh ex-showroom. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R, which recently made its debut, will also see a price hike. The motorcycle avoided the last price hike, but this time, Kawasaki will be pricing the motorcycle at INR 15.14 lakh ex-showroom. Currently, the ZX-10R retails at INR 14.99 lakh ex-showroom.

Z Series

The Kawasaki Z650 is currently priced at INR 6.18 lakh ex-showroom. From August, the price will increase to INR 6.24 lakh ex-showroom. The Kawasaki Z900 is presently priced at INR 8.34 lakh ex-showroom. The brand will hike its price to INR 8.42 lakh ex-showroom. 

Versys and Vulcan

The Versys 650 retails at INR 7.08 lakh ex-showroom will come with a price hike of INR 7.15 lakh ex-showroom. The Kawasaki Versys 1000, which retails at INR 11.44 lakh ex-showroom, will come with an INR 11.55 lakh ex-showroom price. The Vulcan S cruiser will come with a new price tag of INR 6.10 lakh ex-showroom. Currently, the Vulcan S comes with a price tag of INR 6.04 lakh ex-showroom.

Modern-Classic W800

The W800 modern-classic also gets a price hike. The motorcycle currently retails at INR 7.19 lakh ex-showroom. From August, the W800 will cost INR 7.26 lakh ex-showroom. 

Kawasaki Motorcycles that Avoided the Price Hike

Kawasaki has revealed that the price hike will not affect the Ninja 300 prices. The motorcycle comes with the same price tag of INR 3.18 lakh ex-showroom. Kawasaki’s off-road motorcycles, the KLX110 and KLX140G, also do not receive the price hike and continue with the same ex-showroom price of INR 2.99 lakh and 4.07 lakh, respectively. The Kawasaki ZH2 and the ZH2SE have also avoided the price hike and retail at INR 21.90 lakh ex-showroom and INR 25.90 lakh ex-showroom, respectively.
