Kawasaki adds green and black paint job on the Z800

Kawasaki will now offer the Z800 sports bike in a green and black, dual tone paint scheme. When launched in India earlier this year, the Z800 was available only in a black paint option.

Now, the sportsbike gets green paint on the headlamp fairing, floating cowl, under the tank, engine under-belly, side panel and the pillion seat in green as well. Apart from this revised paint job, there is no other styling change.

The Z800 is powered by a 806cc, in-line 4-cylinder, 16 valve, liquid cooled motor which produces 113 BHP of peak power and 83 Nm of torque mated to a 6-speed transmission. Other equipment includes dual 310mm, semi-floating disc brakes at the front, a 250mm single disc brake at the rear, 41mm inverted front fork, gas-charged rear monoshock, LED tail lamp, digital instrument cluster etc.

The Z800 (CBU) can be yours for Rs. 8.05 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Let’s hope that Kawasaki brings in the white and orange colours on the Z800 in India soon.
