John Abraham aspires to create a helmet brand

Indian Actor and Film Producer John Abraham is looking to launch his own line of motorcycle helmets for Indian motorcyclists. As an avid motorcyclist himself, John has always been promoting road safety and has a huge fan following thanks to his blockbuster movie series Dhoom. Now, John Abraham plans to launch his own motorcycle helmet line which prioritizes safety and comes with multiple shell sizes to offer comfort as well, reveal sources. The Actor/Producer revealed that the new helmet for India will be put through every possible certification offering much more than just looks and is also said to be over and above the standard BIS safety norms.

Safety + Comfort

In the past the government of India mandated sale of only ISI/BIS certified helmets in the country, which meant buying imported helmets without the now mandatory ISI/BIS certificate impossible. Locally manufactured helmets are BIS certified, however, some of them may not be upto the mark in terms of safety, ergonomics, wind resistance, noise reduction and aerodynamic abilities.

John has an impressive collection of motorcycles and understands the need of a biker. That is the reason why he has already visited a number of helmet manufacturing factories in Italy and Spain. The factory visits have helped him Lears the manufacturing process reveal reports, and the business of manufacturing helmets is said to be “his calling”

When Will it Arrive?

John Abraham also recently signed a celebrity endorsement with Italian premium motorcycle brand Aprilia in India and his passion for high-performance motorcycles perfectly aligns with Aprilia’s racing heritage and legacy, revealed the brand. So is John working with the Italian manufacturer to develop his helmet line, and when the new helmet will arrive in India is still in question. However, it’s a relief for all bike enthusiasts to know that a new helmet which blends top-class safety and comfort will soon be arriving to a store near us.
