At the starting grid, Jehan started off on the front row with pole position clinched by Daniel Tickhum; but dropped down to 3rd position after Mick Schumacher overtook him. There was an intense battle among the front three drivers, but Jehan came out on top. In this same race, Mick Schumacher took his first F2 championship title by scoring a total of 215 points which is 14 more than 2nd placed driver Callum Ilott in the championship standing.

Jehan hails from Mumbai and had started karting from a very early age of 13. He had won a lot of titles across Asia and Europe in his racing career. In 2015, Jehan raced in the Formula Renault 2.0 championship and finished 5th in the Northern European Cup. From 2016, he started participating in the European Formula 3 Championship with Carlin Racing Team, with whom he won one race and finished 6th in the overall drivers’ championship. Following year, he competed in the very first Formula 3 season with the Prema Powerteam winning two races; Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and the feature race in France.
