Jeep India has launched the special edition Jeep Compass Night Eagle in the Indian market priced starting INR 20.14 lakh ex-showroom. The Jeep Compass Night Eagle is based on the mid-spec Longitude Plus trim, positioned above the Longitude Plus trim and features black chrome exterior details along with gloss black alloy rims as well as dark themed interiors.
The Jeep Compass Night Eagle edition is available with a BS6 emissions-compliant 1.4-litre MultiAir Turbo-Petrol 4-cylinder engine that makes 162 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DDCT automatic gearbox and a 2.0 MultiJet II Turbo-Diesel engine that puts out 173 PS of power 350 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed manual and a 9-speed automatic.
The Jeep Compass is also available with a 4X4 drivetrain with SELECTERRAIN that engages when traction is needed while traversing over rough terrain. The Active Drive system includes the Selec-Terrain dial, which provides four modes – Auto, Snow, Sand and Mud for the best four-wheel-drive performance on or off the road and is configured to deliver maximum fuel economy.
The Jeep Compass Night Eagle features the brand’s signature seven-slot grille with black chrome inserts, gloss black badging with Night Eagle badge, 18-inch gloss black finished alloy wheels, dark themed window-line, black roofline, piano black inserts in the fog light area, etc. On the inside, the black theme continues and the Compass Night Eagle features an all-black dashboard with piano black trim around the 7.0-inch infotainment system, minimal chrome accents on the control mounted steering wheel and on controls around the central tunnel.
The Compass Eagle Edition also comes with comfort and convenience features such as Apple CarPlay integration, dual-zone climate control, keyless entry, push-button start/stop and a plethora of safety features such as Airbags, ABS+EBD, ESP, Brake Assist, Hill Start Assist etc.
The Jeep Compass Night Eagle edition is available in four exterior paint options – Vocal White, Brilliant Black, Exotica Red and Magnesio Grey, all available with a black roof. In the international market, the Jeep Compass Night Eagle edition is offered in six monochrome colour options along with 5 twin-tone options with a black roof.
