Written by Nizam Shaikh

Classic Legends, the company that revived the Jawa brand in the Indian market now offers a new Golden Stripes scheme for its customers who purchase the Jawa classic and Jawa Forty Two in March. The brand is offering Black-out Alloy Wheels with Tubeless Tyres and Bar-End Mirrors at a discounted rate of INR 7,999 under the Golden offer. Otherwise, customers will have to shell-out INR 14,498 to purchase the same bundle.

Golden Stripe Scheme

The Golden Stripe scheme allows customers to further customise their Jawa motorcycle making it stand apart from the crowd. Apart from the looks the Alloy Wheels and Tubeless Tyres are also a great safety and convenience option compared to the puncture prone spoke wire rims. Customers can add the parts while ordering the Jawa classic and Jawa Forty Two at all Jawa Dealerships in the country.

Jawa ‘Jawa’ & Jawa Forty Two

Powering the Jawa ‘Jawa’ and the Jawa Forty Two is a BS6 compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, DOHC engine with liquid cooling and electronic fuel injection that produces 27 Bhp of power and 28 Nm of torque. The boffins at Jawa have also recently made improvements to the fuel injection system and the cross-port technology so the new Jawa 42 2.1 produces 27.33 PS of power and 27.02 Nm of torque slightly more power than the standard. The new engine on the Jawa 42 2.1 also comes with improved performance consistency and cleaner tailpipe emissions thanks to the repositioning of Lambda sensors. Both the motorcycle models come with a constant-mesh 6-speed gearbox.

Jawa 42 2.1

In addition to the standard Jawa Forty-Two, Classic Legends also launched the Jawa 42 2.1 which comes with Orion Red, Sirius White and AllStar Black paint options featuring grey classic sports stripes running across the length of the motorcycle, giving the motorcycle a sportier look. The Jawa 42 2.1 also features an X-shaped grille on the headlamp, a small flyscreen, Cafe Racer style bar-end mirrors, black-out alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, a redesigned seat pan with a new cushion and a re-tuned frame & suspension that offer a higher ground clearance than standard.
