Jaguar has launched the locally manufactured XJ LWB with a 2.0L petrol engine priced at Rs. 93.24 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The new 2.0L i4 petrol engine produces maximum power of 237 BHP @ 5,500 RPM and maximum torque of 340 Nm @ 1,750 RPM. It is a six-cylinder, turbocharged engine with twin variable valve timing mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The car can achieve a 0-100 stint in 7.5 seconds and has a top speed of 241 kmph. Fuel efficiency is rated at 9.4 kmpl by ARAI.
Features on the Jaguar XJ include electrically adjustable rear seats with massange function, enhanced rear headroom, rear seat infotainment with two 25.9cm screens, electric side window blinds, soft door close, 825W Meridian surround sound system, LED reading lights and new business table at the rear.
A 2.0L petrol engine is a segment first, and also allows Jaguar to price the car competitively.
