Jaguar Land Rover India has announced to commence deliveries of their brand new Jaguar F-Pace SVR for India. The new top-of-the-range SVR is the fastest-performance SUV Jaguar has ever released. The F-Pace SVR sports a motorsport-inspired exterior design, a luxurious interior, the latest connected technologies and is priced at INR 151.2 lakh.
Jaguar F-Pace SVR: Exterior Details
The new SVR draws inspiration from racing cars and showcases a revised bumper design, larger air intakes, bonnet vents, side fender vents, and a rear spoiler. These additions have led to increased downforce and drag reduction for better performance and handling. Other changes include the new SVR-badged grill, all-LED quad headlights with signature ‘Double J’ DRLs, and an Adaptive Driving Beam capability.
The F-Pace SVR dimensions include a wheelbase of 2874mm with a height of 1664mm and an overall length of 4747mm. Jaguar, via its SV Premium Palette option, offers the F-Pace SVR with a choice of 8 colours. These include Atacama Orange, British Racing Green, Velocity Blue, Petrolix Blue, Amethyst Grey-Purple, Flux Silver, Ionian Silver, and Sorrento Yellow.
Jaguar F-Pace SVR: Interior Details
Jaguar has redesigned and reworked the interior cabin space of the F-Pace SVR to incorporate new materials, controls and features. A new Drive Selector in the SVR offers an enhanced performance-focused feel along with new performance seats. Jaguar offers the seats with a choice of Windsor leather, suede cloth, or Semi-Aniline leather, along with SVR branding on the headrests. The SVR’s split-rim steering wheel features unique stitching in Flame Red and Light Lunar colour schemes with an SVR logo.
The F-Pace SVR sports a new 11.4-inch curved-glass HD touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Along with a 12.3-inch digital driver’s display, Jaguar offers an infotainment system with the new ‘Pivi Pro’ technology. These features allow the F-Pace SVR to include Software-Over-The-Air (SOTA) updates and the latest 3D Surround Camera technology. The SUV also features Cabin Air Ionization with PM2.5 filtration to keep the interior odour-free and prevent polluting particles.
Jaguar F-Pace SVR: Engine and Powertrain Details
Powering the new F-Pace SVR is a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine producing 543 Ps of power and 700 NM of torque. Paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission, the SUV can sprint from 0-100 km/h in a swift 4.0 seconds. As standard, Jaguar offers the SVR with ‘Intelligent Driveline Dynamics’ and all-wheel drive. The system includes specific software settings for throttle response, suspension, and steering courtesy of Jaguar’s engineers.
Enabling the performance of the new F-Type SVR is the Dynamic mode feature, which allows for enhanced exhaust mapping and uprated engine tuning. The performance SUV also comes with front and rear disc brakes. The brakes come with an Integrated Power Booster and a shorter brake pedal for a sportier and improved brake feel.
