iVOOMi launches S1 e-scooter with more range at INR 69,999

Electric two-wheeler brand, iVOOMi Energy brings in new additions to its portfolio. With the launch of new variants of the S1 series, customers now have more options to choose from.

Key Highlights S1 e-scooter

Of all the available options, the S1 240 packs the longest range with its twin batteries. The dual battery setup helps this variant deliver a claimed range of 240km (IDC). On the other hand, the relatively budget-friendly S1 80 gets lower-spec hardware. This trim uses a 1.5kWh battery pack that comes with a claimed IDC range of 80km.

Further, all models under the S1 series get three riding modes. These are, namely, Eco, Rider, and Sport. The feature list for these scooters includes all the essentials as per the 2022 standards. These scooters also benefit from the ‘find my ride’ function and a GPS tracker monitoring system. We understand the portfolio expansion has been done in accordance with the company’s agenda of boosting sales.

The S1 series of electric two-wheelers will go on sale from December 1st, 2022 onwards.

Price And Color Options

Named S1 80, S1 200, and S1 240, these electric scooters have received significant updates. Alongside this, they even pack a longer range. The prices for these models start from INR 69,999 and go up to INR 1,21,000 (ex-showroom). Furthermore, the updated S1 series is available in three colors. This includes Peacock Blue, Night Maroon, and Dusky Black. Noteworthy to mention, the company has retained the previous S1 and it is available for INR 85,000 (ex-showroom).

The Road Ahead For iVoomi

There’s a rising demand for EVs in the country. Thus, we are witnessing a sharp rise in the number of new launches in this segment. iVoomi is also one such brand that aims to make the most of the demand and expand its business. In fact, it has also been taking necessary steps to realize its targets. The company mentioned that it has plans to expand its footprint in the southern Indian region. The target is to make all of its models available by the end of 2022.
